A native of Portland, Oregon, Danny Hay Davis has been creating his distinct brand of music for over two decades.

Danny's songs reach many directions. His words and melodies are delivered on a rich foundation of simple rhythms, laced with colorful and exciting fretwork.

Danny currently fronts "The Danny Hay Davis Band", a blues, r&b, country, rock band.

He has played on some of Portland's best stages, including the legendary punk club, "Satyricon", as well as the cities best nightclubs and blues bars. 

Danny has performed his original material on Beale Street in Memphis, Tenn, has had his songs aired on the radio in 4 countries, and sold CD's in 9 countries and 14 states.

Danny has performed at The Sunbanks Rhythm and Blues Festival 2005, and Blues by The Sea 2005 and 2006.

Danny's new band has been nominated for a Muddy Award as "Best New Act 2006" by The Cascade Blues Association.
